Chicka Chicka Boom Boom

My new fav book for Sweet E is Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, not to be confused with: chicka-chicka-bow-wow!

It’s a children’s classic board book with sturdy pages and rounded corners, so it can take the abuse of little hands (and teeth and tongues):

  1. I remember when Cady came home from daycare at two years old saying “chicka-chicka-boom-boom, there will be enough room” (or something like that) over and over.

    • Mrs. Tucker says:

When I saw the book I laughed because “chicka chicka boom boom” is very close to the “chicka chicka bow wow” silliness that we’ve said for years. Had to buy it. Love it.

  2. I loved this book as a child, and was excited when my sister bought the board book for my daughter! Definitely a favorite!

  3. Love this book and so did my little one. Just wait until she gets older and you can read the full picture book version- it’s even more fun!

    • Mrs. Tucker says:

The book is so bright and inviting, even I wanted to read it! Can’t wait till he’s older and wanting to read more.

  4. My girls LOVE this book. We just discovered one with numbers at the library too πŸ™‚

  5. Okay, this is a new one on me, so I guess I better check it out. Looks like it’s clearly a popular one.

  6. LOVE! Want for grands! β™₯ Thank you, Mrs. Tucker!

P.S. Folks, if you have Amazon Prime, it’s eligible! FWEE shipping! πŸ˜‰

  7. Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! I LOVE Chicka Chicka Boom Boom. I read this to my daughter a zillion times until we both had it memorized and recited it over and over driving to the lake (or anywhere). I still have it memorized. She’s in law school. I wonder if she remembers? Thank you for the wonderful memory. Made my day.

  8. Skit Skat Skoodle Doot! One of our favorites. πŸ™‚

  9. We have this book. My daughter is 2 and it is in her “favorites” book basket near her bed. We only have her favorite books by her bed because they are what we read in rotation every night before she go to sleep. It made it into her favorite basket a few months ago and it is still there! I wonder how long it will stay? It is a keeper for sure!

  10. How fun and colorful! Don’t you just love children’s picture books?

  11. I LOVE this book! Have loved it since my daughters were in early grade school – and now we have it for the grandkids. It’s infectious!

    • Mrs. Tucker says:

This is the kinda book that becomes part of your family’s bones. Fun, colorful and the kids can’t get enough. Love it!
