My Latest Obsession: Fiestaware

Most of us have something that we just can’t get enough of. Garry loves carry-on bags and jackets; I’m a sucker for kitchenware, but most especially, Fiestaware dishes.

~ A gentle reminder: OMT! uses Amazon referral links. When you do your shopping through the Amazon links on this page, you support the blog at no cost to yourself. It’s much appreciated!~

SOMEBODY STOP ME!

Not really. You best step out of my way once I’ve spotted a display of Fiestaware. Mommy’s coming, babies!

I’ve decided that I’m going to slowly replace all my dishes with Fiesta dishes.

Why?

Let me count the ways:

~ They’re made stateside, in the U.S.A., since 1936

~ They’re iconic.

~ They’re colorful, like my potty mouth.

~ They’re cheery.

~ The colors are as varied as your mood.

~ They have a 5-year chip warranty. (If you could see me banging dishes around in my kitchen, you’d know I need THIS!)

~ Dishwasher, oven, freezer and microwave safe.

~ They’re fully vitrified china with a lead-free and cadmium-free glaze.

~ They’re made to last long enough to hand them down to your children.

~ They make me happy every time I use them. Do your dishes do that for you?

So many reasons!

Here are a few pieces I own and adore:

18-oz Latte Mug:

28-oz Gusto bowl:

1-quart large serving bowl:

67-1/4 oz Large Disk Pitcher:

Aren’t they beauties? And yes, I have a thang for orange and blue (Sic ‘Em Cats!). Of the many things I love about Fiesta is the continuity of their pieces. I can add to my collection throughout the years and they’ll still work together.

As a rule, I’m not much of a collector of anything, but these dishes combine practicality of function and use with my love of art and beauty. That’s the kind of collecting I can get behind. Plus, I can replace anything I break, which hasn’t happened yet! These badboys are durable, yo!

Anyone else as obsessed as I am about Fiestaware? Spill it!

Happy Shopping (and jumping outta my way!), Y’all!

I got my first Fiestaware 12 place settings about 7 years ago and love them! They have been durable and so easy to keep adding to. Plus, every year they put out at leas one new color. I love to open my cabinets and see the happy rainbow of dishes in there!

I love the color explosion from my cabinets too. They just make me so stinkin' happy! (and you too!)

I don't own any because I'm "full up" of dishes, but I nearly fall off the couch on Sunday mornings when I see the weekly Macy's ad that's always got them "on sale" - loooove the colors!

It's fun to get into an "obsession" like this, isn't it? Just enjoy!
