Hard Crushing on Powerful Vitamix Blenders

Oh, my babies. We’ve all used an underwhelming blender that can’t handle the truth of what we’d like it to produce.

JUST CRUSH THE ALREADY SEMI-CRUSHED ICE…IS THAT TOO HARD?!

Apparently.

Enter the age of the Vitamix blenders. Yeah, yeah, I know you know, but I obviously live under a rock, cause, HELLO GORGEOUS!

Look at this lovely vision of a blender that kicks ice butt!

This badboy is the Vitamix 5200 Series blender. The online reviews mirror my hard crush on all things Vitamix.

Spoiler Alert #1: People love their Vitamix blenders!

Product Deets:

~ The size and shape of the 64-ounce container is ideal for blending medium to large batches

~ Easily adjust speed to achieve a variety of textures. The dial can be rotated at any point during the blend, so you’re in complete control

~The power and precision of our patented designs are able to pulverize every recipe ingredient, including the tiniest seeds

~The blades in the Vitamix container reach speeds fast enough to create friction heat, bringing cold ingredients to steaming hot in about six minute

~ Material used : BPA-free Eastman Tritan Copolyester. Manufactured in Cleveland, Ohio USA

Garry and I aren’t so much interested in juicing, as we are pulverizing fruit into a smooth drinkable concoction, thereby retaining the good-for-you fiber. Our regular blender can hardly handle frozen wild blueberries (so. small!), so how could it handle an apple?!

Spoiler Alert #2: It can’t.

I also am a big fan of homemade nut butters. This blender will smoothly handle that job. ~snort~

While the Vitamix 5200 is a powerful choice, if I had a to pick a Vitamix blender it would be the Vitamix 7500 blender package, cause MORE STUFF!

~ Variable Speed Control and Pulse feature refresh recipes and create a variety of textures for maximum flexibility

~ Low-profile BPA-free 64 oz. capacity container is perfect for meals and entertaining and easily stores under most cabinets.

~ Powerful 2.2 peak output horsepower motor propels the blade up to 240 mph to blend even the toughest ingredients. Sleek new design features an illuminated control panel, soft-grip controls, and easy-grip handle.

~ 7 Year Warranty on the blender, 3 Year Warranty on the Jars and cups. Simply Natural Recipe Book, Starter DVD

7 year warranty! 40% quieter! So much power! All the thangs a gal like me is after in a blender.

I haven’t opened my wallet, yet. But, I can tell you the Vitamix is on my short list of the top 5 things I neeeeed in my kitchen.

Spoiler Alert #3: It will happen.

Is anyone as obsessed with these mixers as I am? (BTW: Any one of their models would make a mind-blowing gift to someone special on your list. I mean, if you’re going to buy her/him a blender, it better kick butt, or don’t even bother.)

Happy blending the crap outta ALL THE THINGS, y’all!

We had a vitamix when I was a kid. That thing could whip up the most amazing smoothies! We ate a lot of pureed things back then too! My mom was in LOVE with it. Now that I'm an adult, I get it. And I REALLY want one too!.
