Protecting What You Gots: The Addendum Review

You’ve read what I covered my iPhone’s face with (OtterBox Alpha Glass); today I want to talk about the cover I use to protect my phone’s body.

Product Description:

Symmetry Series is the culmination of over a year of design, testing and innovation. This sleek, cleanly constructed protective smartphone case is simple to install in its one-piece form. But don’t let its elegant simplicity fool you – the dual-material construction makes Symmetry Series one of the slimmest, most protective cases in its class. The raised beveled edge helps keep the touch screen safe, while the internal material and honeycomb coring help protect the device from drops and shock. A full spectrum of wraparound colors and graphics on the sleek polycarbonate exterior add seamless style to complete your entire look. The slender, simple Symmetry Series has the style you want with the protection you need.

When I was considering buying an iPhone, I knew I wanted tough protection and that meant I was looking at OtterBox cases. I loved the brand, but hated the bulk of what I saw in stores. It seemed as if my choices were either stylish or well-protected, but not both. BOOOO!

Then, I found the Symmetry series and knew I’d found my case. The installation was easy and combined with the Alpha Glass face cover, I felt I covered my bases in the protection arena.

My phone is almost always shoved into my jeans pocket or tossed in my bag, so it’s not exactly handled with extreme care. This is incredibly important to know, since the camera lens juts out a bit on the back of my phone, yet is protected from my seeming lack of concern when I’m cramming my phone into tight spaces. So far, I’m a happy happy gal with both these OtterBox products.

The one item of wishing-it-was-easier is the button on the right-hand side of the case that is used to turn the screen on. It’s a bit of a hard push. I understand that it is due to the sturdiness of the case itself, but dadgumit, sometimes (like when I just roll out of bed and am Fumbles McGee) I want cotton candy ease-of-use. It’s obviously not a sticking point (pun always intended) or I wouldn’t be endorsing the case. I just want all the things. Is that so wrong?!

If you are looking for a lightweight, yet workhorse of a case for your iPhone 6s/6, you could do a lot worse than the Symmetry series.

Hope this helps in your search.

Happy Shopping, My babies!
