How To Water Your Lawn With Added Fun

Y’all. Summer is hot…am I right?

If you live in Texas, or any other climate that rarely takes a break from sunny days and little rain, you’re gonna need to water your lawn.

So. Much. Watering.

I do not have an in-ground system. Nope, I’m as old-fashioned as you can get (in this matter!).

As usual, if I have something to do, water the lawn, I’d like a little fun added to the mix.

~ A gentle reminder: OMT! uses Amazon referral links. When you do your shopping through the Amazon links on this page, you support the blog at no cost to yourself. It’s much appreciated!~

Here’s the sprinkler I use (and LOVE!):

Gilmour Impulse Sprinkler

Look at that spectacular beauty.

Couple o’thangs:

~ I have the plastic version of this badboy. As of this writing, I am ordering the metal version – cause TEXAS!

~ Not the TWO hose attachment areas. One attaches to your water hose, your source of, um, quality H2O (name that movie!) and the other can do one of two things: either keep the cap on to water one specific area….OR…attach ANOTHER hose (and then another sprinkler, and water more than one area at a time.

Then, of course, run through them.

F-U-N!

(told ya)

BONUS: the sprinkler makes the fun ch-ch-ch-ch-chhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh sound that is ingrained from our youth. Think football fields – they’e notorious for using impulse sprinklers.

Did I mention it’s fun to run away from and through?

Well, it is!

Sweet E loves this one.

Hard working, heavy duty and fun.

What more can you ask for in an above-ground manual sprinkler?

Get to watering, y’all. Summer ain’t over yet.
