What Grandma Drinks (check out my IG) is a fun space for what I drink – alcoholic or otherwise!
Have you heard the nutritional guidelines that state an adult should consume between 5 and 13 servings of fruits and veggies PER DAY?
That’s right, my fellow rabbits – eat your veggies (and fruit)!
Luckily, a serving of fruit and vegetables is about a half of a cup.
WHEW!
Still, one might be forced to get creative at the end of the day, when one (ahem, me) is short a few servings.
This post could easily be entitled: How to Eat Any Fruit Like an Adult.
Why?

That’s right, judge away!
Choochie was short in the fruit servings late one day, so she threw a half cup of frozen wild blueberries into her wine and BAM! antioxidant heaven.
Here’s the truth: I am not a blueberry fan. Wait. I LOVE wild blueberries – those teeny tiny pops of yum – I HATE the fatter cultivated blueberries. Blech.

Who says you can’t play with your food?
WHO?
Spoiler Alert: NOT ME!
Play away, dear readers.
The next time you realize that you haven’t met your daily quota of fruit, simply throw them in with your wine and viola: magic!
Bonus: The fruit gets a bit tipsy while soaking in their tub o’wine, which makes them even more delightful to eat.
SALUD!
