One of our all-time favorite books given as a gift when Boy was just our tiny bunny, was Love You Forever by Robert Munsch.

This book was hard to read without tearing up and thinking of either the time that was passing so quickly, or the future that was speeding towards us. It’s still one of my favs and one I still give as a gift. Boy and Mrs. Boy have one of these waiting in Future-Baby’s library as I write. Soon, they’ll understand the depth of love Robert wrote about and shed their own bittersweet tears.
Who else made up a sing-song melody for the song the momma sings to her child in the book? Here’s the author singing the song (go to the :22 mark):
If you haven’t read this book, I recommend you put it at the top of your list.
And some tissues. Make sure you buy some tissues…
